Box displays Archives in alphabetical order. When you select an Archive, Box enables you to browse the Archive’s displayed content.

Viewing an Archive

To view an Archive:
  1. In Admin Console, in the left panel click Content.
  2. In the top of the window, click Content Manager.
  3. At the top of the window, click the Archives slider.
  4. In the list of Archives, click on an Archive’s name.

Search Content in Archives

When searching Archives, you can filter search results based on
  • Users,
  • Type,
  • Date Range,
  • Location,
  • Metadata, and
  • File Name.
To perform a filtered search of Archives:
  1. In Admin Console, in the left panel click Content.
  2. In the top of the window, click Content Manager.
  3. At the top of the admin console window, in the search field click the search icon.
  4. Click Locations.
  5. Click In the selected locations.
  6. Check Archives.
  7. Select  search filters as needed.
  8. Click Search.
  9. In the search results, Box displays a purple folder icon (purple-folder-1-png) beside Archived content.
