Search Box Hubs in the Hubs gallery or inside a Hub. Use filters to make your search more detailed.
Note
In the edit mode, click the Select Metadata to add filters that allow your users to search for content faster.
To search for a specific Hub, go to the Hubs gallery and enter the Hub name in the search bar. You can also filter and sort the Hubs.

Filter options:

  • All,
  • View Access,
  • Edit Access.

Sort options:

  • Recently updated
  • Most viewed

Inside a Hub

Open the Hub and enter a keyword in the Hub search bar. You can also click the Filters icon in the search bar and use filters to make your search results more specific. You can filter the content by:
  • File Type(multi-choice)
    • Document,
    • PDF,
    • Presentation,
    • Spreadsheet,
    • Image,
    • Video,
    • Audio,
    • Drawing,
    • 3D,
    • Box Note,
    • Box Canvas,
  • Date Updated(multi-choice)
    • Any time,
    • Last day,
    • Last week,
    • Last month,
    • Last year,
    • Custom range (you need to specify the date range),
  • Owners(type in the name of the owner),
  • Metadata.
On the search results page, you can sort the files by their relevance and update date (newest or oldest).
Note
You can also use the global search, the Hub files are included in the search results.

Metadata

To add metadata to your Hub search, click the Select Metadata button. Select the metadata filter from the dropdown list under the Metadata section, for example Background Check Alert.
