You need global admin credentials for OneDrive for Business to perform the migration. As the global admin user, make sure to log in to the OneDrive for Business admin console and assign yourself as the owner of the root site.

Set up OneDrive for Business as the source system

  1. Provide a unique name for the job.
  2. Select OneDrive.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect OneDrive:
    1. Log in with your global admin credentials.
    2. Authorize Box Shuttle to access your data.

Transferring OneNote notebooks

Box Shuttle does not transfer OneNote notebooks and associated items such as notebook packages from OneDrive. This is because these files depend on the ecosystem in which they were created, and lose integrity when migrated outside of such a specific environment. They do not always have well-defined properties as files. If transferred, they may not open in the same state as in the source environment.
