- View details of an unmanaged user
- Manage folders that have been shared with a unmanaged user
- Convert unmanaged users to managed users
- Delete an unmanaged user
Identify unmanaged users
The ability to identify unmanaged users is restricted to admin roles with the permission to manage users:- Navigate to the Admin Console.
- Select Users & Groups.
- Select the External Users tab.
- Select Unmanaged Users from the first dropdown menu above the list of named external users.
Note: Unmanaged users are not controlled or monitored by your Admin, Co-Admin, or your organization’s security policies, meaning that they represent a potential security and compliance risk. Box advises you to convert them to managed users as soon as you can.
